Mark and his team were superb, had a major boiler meltdown and Mark came along within 30 mins of calling, checked the old boiler out and found what the problem was, turned out to be terminal and required a new boiler fitting, Mark recommended a 'combi' which we didn't have previously, we were running our hot water system off a separate electrical unit (very expensive!) so we went on his recommendation, the new boiler works a treat and the work undertaken by Mark and his boys was top notch, highly recommended, neat quick and very tidy, I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Mark and will definitely use him for any other plumbing or heating work that we have and would urge other to get in touch with him if you need any heating/plumbing work doing before you contact anybody else, highly recommended. - Ken Laytham

Just had boiler fitted by Mark Owen Plumbing and Heating. Excellent service; was desperate to get it done as I have 4 kids and having no hot water was a nightmare. Mark went out of his way to arrange everything above and beyond what was expected. The installer was polite, well mannered and informed us of what he was doing each step of the way. We got a very reasonable quote from Mark to renovate our garage bathroom that was in very poor state. The floor was very uneven as was the walls but Mark and his workers did a perfect job of straightening it all and transformed our bathroom into a gorgeous place to wash. Going from the bug infested, cold and damp room it was before to the clean and modern bathing area it is now was no easy task by any means but Mark and the lads did a fantastic job and within the timescale he quoted at the start which was 1 week. We would highly recommended Mark's services and will be using him again for our next garage conversion project. - Robert W

Fantastic service!
Mark is my saviour! For 14 months we had suffered with our hot water suddenly becoming cold (boiler fed shower!). I telephoned numerous engineers; some didn’t bother to get back to me while others came to inspect the boiler and I never saw or heard from them again!! The water by now was rarely hot and with a family get-together organised, 4 Aussies and 2 Yanks staying with us, at the beginning of April, I was in a panic. I went onto the Yell website and I gave Mark a call. Not only did he inspect the boiler but he fixed it there and then! I will never be able to express my gratitude to Mark and the fact that it’s now sorted and how angry I am at all the others who just couldn’t be bothered! My heartfelt thanks to you, Saint Mark! The most efficient, professional, clean and polite service from a plumber and heating engineer ever -
helping me to avoid a major calamity with a leaking oil-fired central heating system pipe, happening at the worst possible time (son in the middle of final exams at college, partner away on family business abroad) turning into a nightmare. Keeping me informed all the time about the nature of the problem and finishing the job in an unbelievably short time at a very reasonable price, considering the amount of work involved and the added difficulty of discovering that the pipes were so close to the surface, with just a very thin layer of concrete on top, that it was necessary to do some "excavation" work in order to get the pipes a bit deeper under the floor. To be highly recommended, although I would not be surprised if you cannot get an appointment soon. Ardderchog! - Jutta T

MARK IS A STAR!!
We called Mark out in the evening as we had an emergency. He was with us in 10 minutes.
He had to make other arrangements as he was supposed to be going to take his son to football. He made everything safe for us and said as we were left without services he would come Sunday as that was his only free time. He arrived Sunday morning and worked solidly all through the day until everything was sorted. He was polite friendly and cleared up as he went. We will always use him as our plumber in the future.

We are very pleased with the way in which installation of our new boiler was carried out. The work took longer than originally expected but Mark took the trouble to explain to us why and the work was carried out to a very high standard and at a reasonable price. Fast Call Out and Professional Reliable Service!
I had a burst pipe which started to leak through my ceiling and lighting and so I called Mark Owen late in the evening and he turned up in less than 10 minutes.
He quickly and professionally sorted out my problem, saving my ceiling and electrics (and my sanity!)
He is a very friendly and reliable guy and I highly recommend him. If I get any more problems I know who I am calling ;-)

Quick service
When I found my boiler had stopped working I called this company on a Friday afternoon and was pleased that the engineer came out early that evening and got the system working in about half an hour. I booked a complete service and this was carried out promptly and efficiently on the following Monday. I can't fault this service. GH

Fantastic, speedy service and great rates
Came out late evening to deal with boiler lock out leaving me without heating or hot water. Parts needed for full repair were collected and fitted following day. Incredibly polite, quick service with no mess or fuss and charges were very reasonable. Will be using myself from now on and would highly recommend for any boiler work.
